So, I have to fulfill a singer songwriter quota every year. It is one of my long lost lingering habits as a failed angsty poet. But this album, and especially this song, circumvent even that habit. This is not an album that I like because it is singer songwritery, but despite that. This is an album, that even if I hated this genre, I would love. Matt Nathanson writes songs like blankets.
